D’Amico & Sons operates the restaurant Gateway Cafe in the McNamara Alumni Center. It is fashioned after its other Mediterranean-style restaurants in the Twin Cities, including D’Amico Cucina and Campiello.

Serving breakfast and lunch, the cafe is open Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Specialties include homemade pizzas, gourmet sandwiches, innovative salads and pastas, breads and desserts.

Gateway Café is available for drop-off service within the McNamara Alumni Center or delivery to University of Minnesota Minneapolis campus locations or the surrounding area.
