The McNamara Alumni Center, 200 Oak St. SE, is located
on the East Bank of the University of Minnesota campus. The alumni
center is just 5 minutes from downtown Minneapolis and 10 minutes
from downtown St. Paul.
An adjacent 500-car ramp is connected by tunnel to
the Center. The ramp entrance is located on University Avenue.
Evening events at the Alumni Center may qualify for special parking
rates ranging from $8.00-$10.00 per car otherwise the charge is
$3.00 per hour. The daily maximum is $12 per car.

Directions
to the adjacent University Ave. Ramp:
From the north, heading south on 35W
- Take Exit #18, 4th St.-University Ave.
- Cross 4th St. SE; turn left on University Ave.
- Drive 9 blocks to the University Ave. Parking Ramp located on the
right side of the street.
From the south, heading north
on 35W
- Take Exit #18, University Ave.
- Turn right on University Ave.
- Drive 9 blocks to the University Ave. Parking Ramp located
on the right side of the street.
From the east or west on I94
- Take Exit #235B, University of Minnesota/Huron Boulevard.
- Follow Huron Boulevard five blocks and turn left onto University
Ave (stop light). The road will then curve to the right and merge
with 4th St.
- After you pass Williams Arena, drive 2 blocks to 18th Avenue SE
and turn left on 18th Avenue.
- Drive 1 block to University Avenue SE and turn left on University
(one-way).
- Immediately get into the right lane; drive 1-1/2 blocks to University
Avenue Parking Ramp on right.
Other Parking Options:
- The Oak St. entrance accommodates drop-offs with a 20-minute limit.
- Two 15-minute meters are at the Oak St. entrance.
- Metered street parking is available along Oak and Walnut Sts.
- The Washington Avenue Ramp is connected to the Center via the
adjacent Radisson Hotel.
- Two handicapped spaces are available at the Center's entrance.
