The Curtis L. and Arleen M. Carlson Heritage Gallery, a multimedia exhibit
in the McNamara Center, honors the accomplishments of University of
Minnesota students, alumni, faculty and staff.
This 2,600-square-foot gallery was created by Vincent Ciulla Design of New
York and is housed behind the reconstructed Memorial Stadium arch, a
prominent fixture in Memorial Hall. The gallery features permanent and
changing photographs, videos, artifacts, inventions and interactive kiosks
that tell the innumerable stories of the University.
The Heritage Gallery is available to rent for dinners up to 50 people and receptions up to 60 people.
The Heritage Gallery is open Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (On occasion, the gallery is closed due to a private event. Please call the Event Office at 612.624.9831 to confirm the gallery is open.)
